Does Alliance IT® Make Sense for My Business?
Before managed services, I never realized how many problems we actually had because we didn’t manage our network proactively. It’s amazing how much better things run now that it is in place; even when we do have a problem it’s a much quicker fix—saving us time and money. With managed services, we are all able to focus more on our work and a lot less on the network.

- Are there instances where customers must be told that they’ll have to wait because your system is down?

How Do We Move to the Alliance IT® Program?
The implementation of Alliance IT® services is a multi-phase process that migrates your IT operations to a proactive model over time.
Phase 1: Assessment
The assessment phase involves getting to know your business, its goals and needs. It also involves an in-depth technical audit of your network and systems to evaluate its overall health and capabilities. The results of this assessment are provided in a written report that describes both elements of risk and issues that impact performance. These findings are shared and reviewed with you, along with recommendations we have for achieving a stable, standardized “baseline” network.
Phase 2: Design and Implementation
The next phase involves the design and implementation of a network transition plan. Immediate steps are taken to address and resolve the highest priority issues including security vulnerabilities, problems with backup systems, configuration issues and developing system documentation. Other activities addressed in this phase revolve around the preparation of your network environment for true proactive management an ongoing basis.
Phase 3: Proactive Management
Once we have achieved stable, “baseline” network performance, ongoing management and maintenance issues are addressed during regularly scheduled visits or remote sessions. With a solid foundation in place, your Technical Services Team will then regularly monitor the status of tasks in progress, handle new tasks as well as manage priorities, scheduling, documentation and other needs you have. This would also be the time to consider system enhancements to support your current and future business goals. It is also an appropriate time for the transfer of knowledge and basic training, if you want it, for the right company staff person.
