Account Executive - IT Services

Our Account Executive is responsible for driving new business revenue by establishing new accounts and cultivating sales within existing accounts. This position requires a results oriented individual who can successfully serve as a revenue generator and relationship builder between our organization and our clients/prospective clients. Candidates must possess proven prospecting, qualifying and closing skills, along with general sales consulting skills. Must be skilled in recognizing client technology requirements and how to propose company-offered solutions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Technical sales experience in information technology products and Managed Services programs; data networking systems and IT services highly desired.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales with refined skills in prospecting, qualifying and closing.
  • Min. 5 years outside sales/business development experience.
  • Excellent consultative selling skills with ability to identify client needs and explain the basics of technology and company-offered programs to clients.
  • Ability to meet new sales objectives while managing existing client base.
  • Must live within sales territory and travel within it as required.

This position has a competitive compensation structure including base salary plus commission, tier 2 performance bonuses, and auto allowance.

Managed Services Account Manager

Our Managed Services Account Manager is responsible for the sale of the company’s Managed Services Programs to new and existing accounts. Duties include providing sales strategy, support, technical and design assistance. This position plays a critical role in building and sustaining customer and partner relationships, while driving the sale and adoption of our Managed Services program solutions. The Managed Services Account Manager works closely with our Sales and Engineering Teams to maximize opportunities by identifying, developing, accelerating and closing deals from a technical perspective. The Managed Services Account Manager is a high-impact, visible role, responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction while promoting adoption of our solutions and driving further development and evolution of these solutions to meet future customer needs.

The right candidate will be technical, sales and team-oriented and have a documented path of previous contribution to a growing, successful business environment.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years hands-on, professional experience in the IT systems integration or computer networking space as a sales engineer or network engineer. Experience in selling Managed Services or IT Services is preferred.
    • Desirable Networking Technologies include: Training and corresponding certifications in selling IT services and/or networking products. Microsoft Desktop/Server OS, Desktop/Laptop PC’s, Switches, Routers, Indoor/Outdoor Wireless, Firewalls/Security, Storage/SANS.
  • Bachelor’s degree or any combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing projects as well as the ability to independently perform all of the duties of the position efficiently and effectively.

Additional Requirements:

  • A varying combination of travel to customer sites and office-based work is required. Must hold a valid driver’s license, have a satisfactory driving record, and be able to transport self to various client sites as needed.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background verification and obtain/maintain DCJS certification credentials.

Compensation includes base salary plus sales incentives and bonus kicker plan, along with a full benefits package, training and certifications.
